Finally an update

Things have been going well so far here in Tucson...i still miss the bay area though...i have been going out the last few weekends with a group of friends...some drama, but ya can't get away from it i guess...no love life to report back on, but there is this one lady in Atlanta that I have been talking to...i might just make a trip out there...maybe...hahaha

Went to my first party in Tucson this past Saturday. I met a lot of people who were very nice and cool. I even got invited to another party this coming weekend. It's been over 2 years now since my last relationship so I think it's about time to seriously search for that special person. I will make a better effort to take the advice of my 3 lovely ladies back home and start dating and call them back after we go out. I guess 1 week or 2 is kinda of not good on a call back. I know it will happen when I least expect it. I have a luncheon and another dinner with a couple of ladies. There's also a sweet girl I met at volleyball this week so when I see her again I'll ask her out too. I am actually attracted to her. Maybe because she is one of the few that can actually play. She's a school teacher. There seems to be a lot of teachers out here that I have met. I guess it's not so bad out here. It's just gonna take some time. Work has been tough, but you gotta expect that starting a new business. I love you all and miss you.

Dire Need of an Update

Well it has been way to long since my last entry...geez...i've been quite lazy or busy...life has been good except for some changes that happened at the end of 2005...but hay that's sooo last year...lol...i miss my friends back home, but things are definitely better out here since my best friend K has kept in touch and we always talk for soooooooooo long...i enjoy those quiet moments alone with her laughing and making memories of us...you can't beat that!!! i'll be here for her in many ways and beside her when she doesn't even know...we're practically on the same wavelength eventhough we r hundreds of miles apart...i finally filled her in on something that i have kept to myself and she definitely deserved an explanation and a heavy load has been lifted from my shoulders and hers too...i'll always be here for my 3 ladies back home and i'll always love them...this is truly going to be a year of fresh starts and new beginnings for all of us...kind and sincere thoughts go out to all those that take the time to be a part of my journal...Love Roy

Everything is looking up this past week...I can't complain!!! I passed my Real Estate exam this past Thursday so I will be a licensed Real Estate Agent as soon as I go down to the State office and turn in all my paperwork...woohoo!!!! I did have food poisoning this past couple of days which sucked...yuck...couldn't hold any food down...Oh yeah the house went on the market Thursday and we had 4 inquiries already and the house won't even be done till next week...but things look promising...Well I guess this part is one in which I think you will be most interested in I have been on 3 dates with the same lady...YIKES...I know I usually don't call them back after the first date...I'm kind of nervous and taking things slow...hopefully not too slow for her...Well if you want to know more you can always call me...I know I'm bad at keeping my journal up to date...but I do try...Luv ya all and miss you!!!!

Thought this was really cool and inspiring!!!

Two traveling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family. The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guest room. Instead the angels were given a small space in the cold basement. As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it. When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied, "Things aren't always what they seem."

The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife. After sharing what little food they had the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's rest. When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field. The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel how could you have let this happen? The first man had everything, yet you helped him, she accused. The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let the cow die. "Things aren't always what they seem," the older angel replied.

"When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the wall. Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn't find it. Then last night as we slept in the farmers bed, the angel of death came for his wife. I gave him the cow instead. Things aren't always what they seem."

Sometimes that is exactly what happens when things don't turn out the way they should. If y! ou have faith, you just need to trust that every out come is always to your advantage. You just might not know it until some time later

Sorry for not writing in my journal as of late. I just finished my first week of real estate school. Very interesting and fun. I also closed my first home for the business...YEAH...construction starts this coming Tuesday. Here is a picture of the view from my sisters backyard. I always go out there in the morning with my cup of coffee it is so relaxing and beautiful. I have met a few volleyball players at open gym...not that great compared to back home, but the more I go hopefully better players will come out. I was also asked to play in a league this December. I will try and be better with writing in my journal from now on. Here are my little ones pictures of Halloween...hehehe soooo cute!!!

Countdown Continues

Well I have a little less than 2 weeks left before one chapter in my life closes and my new journey begins. I feel afraid and sad about leaving my good friends behind and starting over in a foreign land. I know deep down inside it is the right choice...but, my heart is heavy with sorrow...I take so many memories with me and I know I will still have many more to make with my friends...it will have to just be a long distance relationship...we all know how those end...but hopefully this time it will be different.

3. Last but most important...drum roll please...they have to be interviewed by my friends

Don't know if I'll ever get a date now...hahaha

Up All Night

It's so early in the morning and I can't fall asleep. The weekend was fun. I was able to play in a womderful volleyball draw tournament thrown by some good friends of mine on Saturday. It was a blast and I had way too much fun. I spent all of Sunday recovering. But I did do something that I have not done in over a decade. Geez I feel old when I think about it. It's a secret...hehe Just kidding the people there know what I'm talking about (wink wink).

I hope I get to sleep soon. Don't know what I'll do today. Maybe some laundry and wash my car. But I've been saying that since Thursday.

I am totally drained from a week of competitive volleyball and hanging out...whew! I just woke up like a real lazy ass...i have to start packing for the camping trip now...hehehe...it's going to be nice to get away and hang out with mother nature...i think i'll actually have a few beers to help me relax too! That will surely surprise my friend's since I don't drink...we'll see how it goes

City Beach

Well we went 3-1 tonight with 5 players. We actually played against K & R 2nite. Then after our session all 3 of us played together in the lower league K & R were playing really well hitting the crap out of the ball...hahaha...I just set the entire matches...by the way, R blocked me when I played against her...and K dug me like it was nothing...good job girls

Opening Day

Here is my first entry...By popular demand...Crackin the cherry...woohoo!!!

Last night I had my IVL co-ed playoffs...We had a great semi-final against a rival they lost to last season...we were able to avenge that loss...but unfortunately we lost in the final and came in second place...the team played great though.

Planning on going camping this weekend with some good friends of mine...it should be a lot of fun!!!

2nite's plan is to go play @ CB league tonight.

I hope I did this right...if not let me know...hahaha
